This is a good hardware store, but I typically only stop in if I am in need of something small or if I am in a hurry and can't wait for a trip to a larger store. This is because the prices at Ace Hardware tend to be higher than at big-box stores. They likely can't help this, since they are smaller and locally owned, but it is still a drawback. I always find the staff ready and willing to help me find anything I need. I also sometimes find items at this store that I can't find other places nearby, such as triangular files for sharpening my handsaw blades. Their friendly service and good selection are enough to keep me coming back, just not for the more expensive stuff.
