Thrifty White Pharmacy

I have had times were I have had to wait but do realize I am not the only person living in Morris and am not the first person in line. I feel that the store is to small for the amount of business they have and it sometimes makes it very difficult for them to work around each other. I myself have no problem with the service I get from the help at Thrifty White and just feel people just need to give them just a little more slack to get all they do done. Hugs to the hard working staff and my hat is off to you!

My experiences at Thrifty have been quite mixed. Some of the staff there are very friendly and kind, others can be very rude and abrupt. I understand they’re busy, but there’s no need to be discourteous. Combined with the very long wait times, it can be aggravating.nnMy prescriptions are rarely ready when the recorded phone thing says they’ll be ready. We’ve had a lot of confusion with our daughter’s medication, which they have to shortly before we arrive. The first few times I ordered it, they called me back to set up a time to pick it up. The third time I ordered it, I waited for them to call me back, and never heard from them, so I went in and the younger woman behind the counter was a bit rude and lecturing me that I should’ve talked to an actual person.nnThis last experience is making me consider switching pharmacies to Alexandria. I misplaced a medication and hadn’t taken it for several days. I was starting to experience the effects of this so I called thrifty. When I explained this, the woman on the other end said “I’m going to put you on the phone with a tech. Hold on.” I “held on” for another 10 minutes and it was 10 minutes of dead air. I hung up thinking something was wrong with their phone or she made a mistake or forgot. I called back a little later and explained again. It was the same woman, and she interrupted me with another “Hold on. Hold on.” No other explanation, just more dead air. This time I waited for 20 minutes and never heard from anyone. Finally my husband called on my behalf and was able to get through to someone willing to help us.

Ready refill is Never ready. The drive thru is a joke, hope you have a full tank of gas. 10 employees behind the counter running around and chatting while everyone stands 6 feet apart waiting g to be checked out.

This pharmacy has been very helpful and has even helped me find discounts on one of my prescriptions. It is the only pharmacy in town so they are normally busy, but if you have a little patience, it is not too long of a wait. I have found friendly service and good advice there. It is nice to have a pharmacy in town.

Thrifty White is the only pharmacy in town now, and they are extremely busy! I have always been treated with courtesy and respect there. My medications seem to change frequently, so I am very grateful they are patient and always answer my questions.
