Rolling on I-80 through Lincoln, NE. Speed limit is 65 MPH. 3 lanes going west. I was passing a semi in the far left lane with my cruise set at 68-69 MPH. Silver and black truck comes speeding up behind me riding my bumper. If I’d have had to brake he’d have run me over. I had to speed up to 75 MPH to get around the semi to my right. Once I was safely in the other lane, I let this truck roll next to me so I could get a name. Versatile Transport, Becker, MN. DOT has been notified.

I would just like to say that tho I havent been here a long time it feels like I've been here forever so many good hard working people have found gainful employment here. The trucks and trailers are awesome not to mention the staff and dispatchers are awesome but best of all the owner understands what we go through every day and he's even on the road with us sometimes. How many people can say that there boss is willing to do what you do every day. All in all this place has been a blessing to me and my family the pay the miles and the equipment are great I wish I could have started my career as a commercial driver with this company.

I've driven truck for 27 years the last 5 have been at versatile transport have to say this is the best job ive ever had. Great place to work top of the line equipment lots of miles great owner that cares he goes above and beyond to recognize drivers and safety. Company has a great dot safety score and has recieved numerous safety awards. Any one who questions the safety of this company all you have to do is look up the dot safety rating and it will prove you wrong.

My husband David Cobb has been driving for 30 plus years. We have been married for 21 years and since we’ve been together he has not had a job better than this company. God has a place in the people’s hearts who are employed here and work here. My hubby is going on 2 yrs with Versatile and honestly we have not one complaint. As with any company, not every one that gets employed stays employed for their a few who’s gift has taken them where there character can’t keep them. Intergrity, commitment, and professionalism is the core of this company. I would recommend this company to anyone seeking stability and honesty in their driving profession. This company will lie to you as soon as you walk in the door. They kept telling us that they don’t haul loads over 26,000 lbs and my first load was 37,000 lbs my second one was 44,000 lbs and the third one was supposed to be 40,000 but only ended up being 4,000 because I guess they decided to load the other freight on a flatbed. They also say they don’t go to the northeast but another driver tells us that they have a Polaris plant they pick up at in Syracuse New York. The real deal breaker was when we had been there almost two weeks and we thought we should have seen a paycheck was when we found out that they only pay their drivers every two weeks. I wouldn’t have even wasted the time effort and money to go up there if I had known before hand. I don’t run across many companies that do that so I didn’t think to ask. Not once in any communication I had with them did they ever mention only seeing a paycheck every two weeks. Then when I turned the truck in the head mechanic wanted to argue with me about it like getting paid every week as a driver was just unheard of to him. Then when we decided to quit I pulled my cash advance off my fuel card and they disabled my other half from being able to pull hers. Then one of the dispatchers called her asking if she was stay then said oh we hate to loose you which was BS. He’s got all these trucks sitting on his yard with no drivers in them but they had to scrape two up for us. All I have to say is work here at your own risk but this is my assessment of them. I wouldn’t waste your time. Plus a lot of the loads they haul have multiple picks and drops which is something I wouldn’t have had the patience for for very long. The owner of this company only cares about making money not his drivers. That’s probably why he doesn’t have any. Oh yeah and plow your friggin yard. This is my review which is the truth and it stands those of you that disagree with me are free to do so I don’t need the messages and comments telling me otherwise. Since anyone that works there in the office isn’t going to disclose that you will be lied to as soon as you walk in the door then I will.
