This is my local library. All of the the librarians are very kind and helpful and they have a lot of children’s books here. They host a lot of fun free activities for kids too. Whenever I bring my son with me they offer him a treat.
I love this library.nThe staff is really helpful, as well as polite. Very professional and good at thier jobs. They have a variety of programs and events that happen there all year round. Its a good place to find a book and its a nice quiet place to sit down and read or even study.
The staff is wonderful and helpful, the security lady does to much is in everyone business but her own!!! She makes it uncomfortable at times so I started visiting Hamtramck or Detroit Main Library both of them locations are outstanding!!!!!
My first impression was like this is a small library. But when I went up to the counter the lady was very nice and helpful when applying for a library card. I can't wait to explore more of it..
The book selection wasn't phenomenal- most books were older and musty. It was stale inside, but you do feel safe with the security guard present. It's not an inviting feel from the outside of the building, but you can get your homework done or read some classics.
