Fun library; Full of railroad trains that actually run in & around the Children's Room. Something I haven't seen like this in all of the other libraries I have visited. There's more than moving trains. There's a lot of books on Railroads in this wonderfully dedicated room. There's also a display of railroad collectibles. Reason Why?nnThe town of Palmer is home to the iconic train station in town that also occupies the current-day restaurant inside the station.nnThis town lies halfway between Springfield & Sturbridge. Better not miss this one if you're in the area.nnI'd love to come back here soon.
It's spacious and there is a cute sitting area and a chess board...But there is this one staff member who has always been rude to everyone. I had never felt welcome here compared to the other libraries I have frequented.
My family and I visit here once a week. My 3 year old loves it here. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, the building including the bathrooms are very clean and well maintained and there is always plenty of fun things for us to do as a family.
This is such a great library and we are so fortunate to have it in our town. The facilities are beautiful and the staff are always very helpful.
