Source Booksellers is a classic Detroit institution. Their wide range of titles, generous and neighborly service, cozy shop interior, pickup and online options, and knowledgeable recommendations make Source my go-to spot for all my book shopping.nnJanet and Alyson are among the warmest and friendliest faces in the Cass Corridor. More than happy to support a Black-owned, female-owned Detroit bookstore over Mr. Bezos!
I ordered some books online this summer from Source Booksellers and there were some issues with backorders, books getting lost in transit and even an unexplained item showing up instead of my books, but Janet and Alyson went above and beyond to make sure that all my books eventually were shipped to me. Truly the definition of personal customer service! The next time I'm in Detroit I can't wait to visit Source Booksellers and hopefully meet them in person. I highly recommend!
I love going to this local bookstore, they have a vast selection of books and they owners are the nicest people that you will ever meet. If you are look for a store to support this is the one.
Great place for education in the urban community a true community is being built here. Must visit.
