Do not use the Valorebooks book return service currently promoted by Ulrich's. I recently sold a large numbers of used textbooks through this service and over half of the value my textbooks were thrown out over minor wear and tear. They appear to expect used textbooks to be in mint condition. Please save your time and money and hold onto your books until you can sell them at a physical book store.nnI'm very disappointed that Ulrich's would promote a service that, on reflection, feels like a scam. I guarantee you that students will be buying my 'rejected' textbooks for $50+ in the fall.

First off, if you're not here to buy books, get out fast before they charge you $5 for dollar store pencils, $8 for average quality binders, and $50 for hoodies you're better off buying at the mden.nnHonestly, some of their books are the cheapest in the town. I can't deny that, but be careful. Among their cheaply priced books, they include books that are as expensive as what you would get at Barnes and Noble. You would be better off checking Amazon and buying from there than here. (At least Amazon has a clear return policy).nnNow, most of the people working there are extremely nice, but some are like Karens, but with jobs. I don't need your attitude when you are trying to explain something to me. I just need what you are saying so please don't add in that unnecessary sass. Also, instead of staring me down while seeing what I would do, I would appreciate it if you can just get out of my face and walk away if you have nothing else more to say.nnUlrich's will continue having business because of students who need books and those who need to buy last minute i-clickers or school supplies, but some people just don't have the personality to work in customer service and that's that.
