Response time can be really slow but I understand the city of Detroit is always in need of officer assistance. Neighborhood police are generally helpful, professional and friendly once they do arrive. DPD however has been slow with updating their system that reflects when protection orders have been served.
I went there to make a report and the lady I talked to was very cooperative and nice. I thank Detroit police for hiring nice people like her.
Called about speeding cars on pembroke no response. Well if the police lived in detroit maybe they would care.
Have left multiple messages for NPO Williams and have not gotten a single call back. I guess you have to be seriously injured or killed before they pay attention. Have lived here 25+ years and can't stand it anymore.nNPO WILLIAMS don't bother calling me now..you are part of the problem here and that is why I am being forced to move.
Ms. Officer Draper who answered my calls was EXTREMELY rude on 2 different occasions.nnPut me on hold for 5 minutes, then hung up, when i called back she Talked over me, got loud & I never had my question answered?!nnNo help at all - 8th precinct needs a new woman to handle their calls.nnTHIS WOMAN WAS SERIOUSLY HORRIBLE TO SPEAK TO! She was miserable, hostile, loud, unhelpful & rude for no reason.
