My Girlfriend and I were looking for a lake to walk along for a relaxing afternoon. Unfortunately our GPS stopped working and we got lost on a private road by Lake Angelus. There was an officer doing patrols on the road who was kind enough to help us get back to the main road and he even took the time to lead us to another lake close by where we could enjoy the wildlife and scenery.nBeing a black man in this part of Michigan comes with many challenges when dealing with police. However, Lake Angelus Police department has my respect after this encounter. The professionalism and kindness this officer showed me was unmatched. I back your departments blue line.
