Avoid this post office at all costs! There is ALWAYS a line and a RUDE worker who will PASS THE BUCK back to you when they’ve lost or damaged YOUR mail. Yes, we all know the USPS is a zero accountability government run organization, but the downtown Farmington branch is extreme.
I dropped off 6 packages on Monday to be shipped priority mail. It is now Saturday and the packages still have not even been scanned as received by the post office. Instead of taking responsibility and helping me find a solution, the staff directs me to call an 800 number that gets me nowhere.nnDo not trust this location with any time sensitive mail. Avoid USPS completely if possible.
The self service postage machine and scale are both out of order, and a homeless man had set up shop in the after-hours lobby. Not impressed with anything about the experience. ud83dudc4eud83cudffc
If zero stars were possible I’d do it. This place and the USPS in general is filled with frauds and liars constantly marking packages as undeliverable or delivered when it’s sitting on the truck or still at the office.nnIf these people cannot be honest with simple mail, how could we trust them with election ballots? It’s a joke.
Not only have we had many packages in the last month marked delivered that didn’t actually show up until a week later, they failed to scan a tracking number that I paid for my application for a new social security card...which was never received by the social security office and was sent five weeks ago. Also, they leave packages wherever, as well as leaving peoples mailboxes (with mail) open. Absolutely ridiculous.
