This is a very nice, beautiful temple, mainly dedicated to Sharadamba. Shankaracharya's statue is on Sharadamba's right side and Chandramouleeshwara's Linga is on Her left side. There are other interesting items in the temple, such as illustration of Shankara's life events on the walls (for example, snake giving shelter from scorching heat to a female frog about to deliver her baby, ಕಪ್ಪೆ ಶಂಕರ in Kannada; Shankara's observation of this event is said to have made him decide to build the temple at Sringeri.) A corner has Panchayatana formation of deities proposed by Shankara, this one being Shiva Panchayatana. Multiple other beautiful deities such as Hanuman are also situated in the temple.
This temple gives you a feel of Sringeri. The vibes are so intense and positive. The whole atmosphere puts you in a meditative state.

Beautiful temple... such a serene atmosphere... the deities look so divine. Looks like they have their own ghoshala... milk is supplied from there for abhishekam. I love going to this temple. I heard that they teach veda also. Poojas happen according to sringeri mutt padhathi.
