Vinckier Foods

Stopped by the store on my way home from work today, to pickup some of their good home cooked fried chicken for dinner. But when I went up to the deli was told they were packing up to close by 6pm. Odd it's 5:35pm who closes a deli who serves fried chicken and other hot foods and much meats this close to dinner time. Well with that said I will have to stop else where to do my shopping and quick dinner meals. Perhaps they don't understand most people who work in the city don't get back into town until close to 5-6pm, just find it kinda odd.

This store is a perfect example of how ineffective management has a direct correlation to, bad service, unhappy workers, and high turnover. I have never seen such poor quality management and ownership as this store. Here are a few examples of what this store does. The owner of the store Lori is completely absent from her role as not only the owner, but the leader of the stores management. She rarely comes into her locations, and cant even say hello let alone learn the names of her employees. When she does come in, its never good news. Its either to ridicule or fire an employee. Which, she never does directly. She will tell one of her mindless drones of managers to do her bidding. That takes me to the management. Armada is a pretty tight knit community so I am sure most of you reading this know of the store manager Tiffany. She is the mindless drone I spoke of earlier. She is asked to dance my Lori and Lori tells her how high. Basically, she is a puppet. The absolute worst manager I have ever witnessed in my life. She will schedule employees when specifically told other wise. Never encourages employees or directs them in anyway other than to deride them (Sorry if that's too big of a word for you to understand Tiffany). Without warning, I have witnessed her terminate employment from many hardworking employees. That is usually done when they ask for a raise, or don't dance like she does for management. There is so much I would like to say about this store but it will simply take me forever to do so. Bottom line, do not shop here. There is no respect among the management for their employees. And they wonder why no one will stay. Tiffany and Lori, I hope you read this. Not because you will change, because you wont. Although, I want you to maybe think of your actions, and your management strategies.

I wish I was able to give this store 0 star. It doesn’t even deserve the one. Everything wrong with this store stems from management. Turnover rate is high, with the belligerent management that seems to be uninterested in training, maintaining, and keeping a good staff. Tiffany if you are reading this, you are the worst manager I have ever had. I can’t tell you enough of how horrible you are at your job. And the owner of the store? Yeah she manages three stores and she can’t even stand to learn your name. I worked there for almost two years, and the hag of a store owner Lori could care less about you. Tiffany is the Lori’s little pet and she follows her blindly. Not that she has a brain enough to do any different. They loose so many great employees for how they treat their staff. Please stay away from this store if you respect the people who work their.

I prefer the Almont store! Almont is clean, well stocked, friendly with great produce. Well worth the 15 minute drive.nnThe Armada location has been disappointing the past 18 months. So many expired items, bad produce, over priced odd products and the place needs a good cleaning.nnWord is, they don't value their employees, only paying minimum wage, when others in town are starting pay well over min wage. I've seen Tiffany belittle employees in front of customers, I was embarrassed for that employee. Guess that's why they are always hiring! Lines have been long and they won't open more lanes. Most of the managers don't seem to help out when they are busy.nnI don't know what happened, but something needs to be addressed sooner rather than later! I used to love shopping here, but i just can't anymore. I won't be back.

First time in 20 years when it was I believe IGA. Really enjoyed browsing and shopping in Vincker's, that at home feeling you get when you walk in the door is truly authentic ❤ud83cudfe1
