I just read the review from one star audrey...nThe response from Fritz was right on point.nIt looks like she only gives one star to anyone she meets on a bad day....nI grew up in St. Joe. We were amazed by the summer visitors from Chicagoland. Im trying to be polite.nnThis studio in the woods is incredible. I would not be surprised if Martha was baking cookies for visitors.nFritz's work is recognized world wide. An incredible sculptor. A beautiful studio. The nicest people you could ever meet. They both have much more patience in dealing with visitors than I would.nnI stopped here by accident years ago. I saw a large sculpture in the woods in the middle of nowhere.nThe trail through the woods led to their studio.nI was very surprised to find such talented people hiding in the forest near the beach.. Fortunately for me I was able to acquire two beautiful statues that I cherish. A wonderful place to visit.

They are very unwelcoming. They claim to be dog friendly and have several dog flags with hearts so we went over and they stopped us at the door and said our dog was unwelcome. They told us to leave. I'm a teacher and my husband is a doctor. We know when we're being discriminated against.

Both artists were warm and welcoming...... a definite must see studio to appreciate the works and technical skill. We enjoyed our evening chat and the welcoming tour of the showroom. At the same time the Krasl Art Center featured these works and we saw more. Very inspiring. Will go again and again.
