Cherry Bowl Drive-In Theatre

anyone that gave this place less than full 5 stars is right grump of a person. Nostalgic, decent projection, heck, fan bloody tastic that somewhere like this still exists. LOVE IT

First time here and had a great time. $10 for adults but kids 12 and under are free. Very reasonable rate. You can use the speakers or use your car radio and tune into the FM station for sound. You can bring lawn chairs to use in front of your vehicle as well. Kids had fun.

Right off the main road. Nostalgia is throughout this whole place. Neat place to take pictures and catch a movie. It was closed when we went but able to snag a couple photos from the outside.

We enjoyed the double feature at the Cherry Bowl. The kids wanted to watch the movie out of the back of our Ford Flex which has seats that turn around, however anyone sitting outside the hatchback had difficulty hearing because it was far from where the speaker stand was and could not hear the speakers from the car. At one point our drive-in speaker stopped working and we were lent a portable radio which worked very well. If I go again I will bring a radio so I don't have to have the car on the entire time. We were an hour away from where we were camping and no one would enjoy dealing with a dead battery at that time of night / early morning.

Definitely go here at least once this summer. Social distancing is easy at an outdoor movie. The playground up front is currently closed, though, so entertaining your kids will be up to you until the movie starts. Remember that it is summer so the first movie will not begin until around 10pm.
