They have a great selection and It felt really safe inside for the staff and customers. Only 1 customer or party at a time and they scoop the candy for you. Candy is secured behind plastic and stays germ free.nnGreat job keeping the business open and safe for all! We love all the candy and staff!
This is a family favorite stop and we were worried they may not be open with the current pandemic. Thankfully they have adapted. They converted one window in to a walk up window for takeout ordering of fudge and ice cream. They still allow the purchase of candy by the pound, which is why my girls and wife stop every time we are in the area. They allowed in one group at a time and an employee did all the scooping of candy as the customer walks along their one way markers choosing what they want. Yes they still have their jellybean floor which made my girls happy. The staff was very friendly and thanked us for our business. Located in the downtown area it is in the easily walkable area. near short sands. We highly recommend you visit!
Been coming here ever since I was little and it’s never wavered in being my favorite candy shop in the world. I love to fill a bag and the candy is never stale. Just went with all the new COVID regulations and they did such a great job making it super safe and sanitary. Ill always come back! :)
My family has vacationed up in York since forever and I always love going downtown to get candy. Sweet Josie’s is my favorite place. During Covid-19 the staff have been so nice and understanding about still letting us get candy. 5 stars because I love Josie’s!
They’ve done a terrific job during covid. They are limiting the amount of people in, masks are required, there is also “takeout” window for ice cream, slush and others items! Staff are also masked. Friendly, clean and good prices!
