My previous interactions with Holly of Edward Owl have been wonderful. She has created two gorgeous rings for me, and I am thrilled. This time, however, I emailed her twice and didn't receive any acknowledgment. I figure that either she is snowed under with work and has no time for conversing or that her new baby is driving her to distraction.
I had the absolute pleasure of working with Holly from Edward Owl on picking out the most beautiful alternative engagement ring. She really really knows her stuff and is an incredibly talented artisan! I happened upon her Etsy shop and fell in love with the jewelry she makes, I couldn't believe it when I realized she lived close by. I contacted her to see if we could meet in person with my boyfriend to see some of her gems and metalwork. She was super responsive and very accommodating to us both. We met with her locally and she brought some gems and examples of her metal work and completed jewelry. We had such a great feeling about her and her work that we were thrilled to pick out a piece of her jewelry to use as an engagement ring. Holly is very professional and travels to NY to personally pick out the best gems. She also suggested an option for the white gold to not have any coatings applied and I couldn't be happier with the natural white gold which looks stunning and unique! I wish I could give a higher rating to show how kind and patient and helpful she was for us. Thank you for everything Holly, I will not be taking off this beautiful ring and will continue to spread the word about your talents!! I have gotten so many compliments already!
