It's an amazing park with lots of little trails. Definitely need well trained dogs to go here with a road so close though

This is the bees knees for letting it all hang out if you're of the canine species and have relatively good recall abilities. Once, perhaps twice a year you may have an issue with someone and their doggo telling you to leash your dog because they don't think it's appropriate behaviour if your pup wants to run up and say hi to them in an excited oh boy look what I can do manner but there are 28 leash free dog acres here so don't fret about it if or when that does happen.

We call it Kickapoo Creek Dog Park. Follows park district rules. Fabulous volunteers work on the trails. We love to take our dog there!

Always a great park, often wet and sometimes flooded like current. Retention walls need to be added before the embankment is completely washed out into and past the road.

Great place to hike and let your dogs do some exploring.
