This was an excellent place for a field trip that had lessons for adults and kids. The best part was that we were all encouraged to dress up for the event. This place was saved by former school teachers and is truly a work of art.
What a great day we had with the kids on a tour of this school. The school was brought here from Chana to Oregon. This is a TWO room schoolhouse, the 'rich' model. On the tour, you will learn history of the school, have an actual historic school lesson, practice calligraphy, learn about some antique devices we don't use in modern times, and have a lesson on some wild plants and roots. This is a great time for homeschool groups and other school groups too. Thanks!!
I really enjoyed taking my granddaughter's here and telling them a little history and we always enjoy the small Park they had a real hard time understanding why the children had to go outside and go bathroom, so cute
