Looked like fresh grass burn had taken place recently.nGrist mill water source is dry. Assume maintenace????nHope to get to Mill so.e day it is open.

This is a great place. We first rented an air bnb in Franklin grove and we've been coming back for day trips ever since. This place is one of my favorites. The pond behind the mill has excellent fishing, and it is very clear so you can see the fish bite. The nature here is amazing, and the mill museum is very cool

I love coming here, theres so much unique nature. This is where I go to get away from the noise of town.

this is a very fun little place to visit. A great replica of the mill that used to stand where this building is standing now. They let you run the mill so your kids can see how it works. They have a basement level where you can see all the gears turning when the mill is running. They let my daughter shut down the mill for the day when we visited and she thought it was really special. They were kind enough to stay open a little late because we arrived right before closing. Very nice people in a great location. Would highly recommend you stop and visit for a half an hour if you have the time.

You have to were a mask inside and it hard to breath. But it is a nice spot for pictures
