If I could give Symonds Funeral home a 10 star review I would. Matthew went above and beyond to help me coordinate my brother in law’s funeral. At first we decided with the cremation process, days later decided to have a burial instead. Loosing someone is already tough as it is and planning a funeral is hard when we’re grieving in the process. The “Flowers by Mateo” were absolutely beautiful. Everyone was amazed with them! Every detail of the service was just how we wanted. Matthew made suggestions, answered any questions we had, and addressed any concerns. The funeral home was very clean, elegant and spacious. I cannot thank Matthew enough for everything he did. This funeral home is definitely the best in the area.

From the time I picked up the phone up to the end of my mother in laws interment, Matthew, the Funeral Home Director at Symonds have been very compassionate, caring and understanding of our family's situation and request. He has gone above and beyond making sure that we are accommodated and satisfied with the whole process and has given his honest opinion on every aspect of funeral planning. I can honestly say that he made us feel like he is planning a funeral with a family/ friend and not just for another customer. He was very hands on from start to finish.nSymonds Funeral Home's interior was also very spotless and clean. My mother in law was presented with dignity and class that she deserves. Overall, our experience has been very positive with Symonds and Matthew. In times like this when we are emotionally hurting and stressed, Matthew's compassion and kind heart really helped us get through this process.Thank you, Symonds and God bless you, Matthew and all your staff . I can honestly say this place is one of a kind. We recently lost a loved one and had no idea how to go about anything. Made an appointment and spoke with Matt from start to finish. Not once did he leave our side. He walked us through everything making sure he explained all our options.Matt has a heart that is one of a kind. He treats you like his family. 10/10 hands down.

We highly recommend Symonds Lakes Funeral Home. Mr. Symonds did an amazing job guiding us through the funeral planning process and visitation. He answered all of our questions and was there with helpful guidance every step of the way. We appreciated his compassion and experience during the planning and decision-making and will always be grateful for the graciousness that was shown to us during that time.
