The process of purchasing books and class supplies was smooth and orderly. A list of your course materials is provided to the attendant at the check in window. Once they know which materials you will be purchasing, they keep your list, pull the items from the stock shelves and deliver them to the cashier in the next room where they are paid for by the purchaser. The cashier room also has some general class supplies such as pens, staplers, notebooks, etc...The process of purchasing my supplies took under 5 minutes even when the bookstore was moderately busy.
This institution is very helpful to those who wish to return to their studies even after sometime has passed. I would recommend this place to recent high school graduates and adult students alike.
People are always friendly and happy to help there. The prices as expected is a bit higher than online bookstores though.
Ordered my book online. It was just a piece of paper for an ebook. Order was filled in less the. 24 hours and i picked it up the first day classes started. It took only 5 minutes to pick up my book! I am very impressed with how fast everything was. They even gave me a reuseable bag.
CLC's LancerZone, the merchandise half of the 'bookstore', is great. Any type of CLC branded or logo item can be found there. School supplies for every area of study as well as all your general supplies are there. They have excellent choices in food, too. Snacks of all types as well as more quick meal type offerings. It is all prepackaged, convenience foods but all name-brand items. Some choices are different and unique. The staff there are always friendly and professional. Hint - the actual 'book' store is downstairs, where it has always been.
