Something you probably didn't know about this tower is that Pisa has embraced it as much as its own. A replica in itself but a good one at that since you can literally touch it and appear to be redressing it. The surrounding amusement park will fill kids with joy for free.
Such an interesting landmark in an unexpected location! It's definitely a smaller scale than the real one but the spirit of this replica is embodied quite well. The stairwell doesn't seem open, although I'm not sure you can even use it to get to the top. The parking lot seems to be shared with the YMCA. In my opinion this is probably a 15 minute stop to take some photos and take in the novelty.
Cool place to check out ... I was in a rush so did not really go up close to the structure to check it out, plus didn't really want to get too close to it ... You never know ... I mean ... Look at it, lol !!nnAnyways, something fun & different, the rest of the area is not really a sight seeing area, it mostly surrounded by offices & business building around it. Check it out if you happen to be in the neighborhood. P+S: entrance is one-way, so you have to exit from the opposite end of the parking lot.
I had no idea this existed and it was an awesome find! It's not the same size as the Leaning Tower of Pisa, don't go in expecting an exact replica. However, it's still a very accurate smaller scale replica and a lot cheaper than making a trip to Italy. When I want there there was no other visitors so I got the whole place to myself. Great place to check out if you're in the area and worth a detour.
Reaaaaaaalllllllyyyyy shady people coming in and out of there. Tower is cool. Sketchy people are always outside the door of the Y. Feels very unsafe and is consistently infected with bed bugs
