I would avoid this place like the plague the owner was rude at a recent gallery especially to an invited guest like me. Art was mediocre...over priced really nothing special. Very middle of the line stuff, I would go elsewhere.

The best art gallery in Salt Lake City. This space is always a pleasant place to stop when roaming Salt Lake City. You don't need a reservation and it's free! There is plenty of free parking and a wonderful coffee shop next door. They always have an interesting show happening and the book store is great, as is the courtyard.

From the compelling exhibitions, that are open and free to the public, to the many community events Modern West holds, they’ve created a truly inviting and thoughtful space here. Also, the people that work here are brilliant, extremely well-educated and welcoming.
