The receptionist doesn't give any care to release accident police reports. Will make up excuses to escape fulfilling job duties.

Very nice officers, this shot is actually the memorial for the Holyoke police department as an aside, outside of Normandy, France, there is a beautiful memorial for the soldiers who fought in WWII from Holyoke MA, it literally says that and lists the names of the men who came from Holyoke and helped drive the Germans out of France

Sadly rather lackluster, as a resident, it seems like they're being inconvenienced anytime I go in with a real and serious issue. Today I go in and they're watching netflix as they make me wait. Last time it was due to identity theft and they sent me away with a rude voice. Today she couldn't be bothered. I NEED help, I have the proof and facts and data to push things along but they can't be. Bothered!

Im a disable resident of Holyoke, MA for 24 years now, and in the last 6 months, 2 separate occasions, had to go to the HPD to report/put in records the incidents i had to deal with. Both times i got the same police officer. And both times i was told, i couldn't report a incident that he (the police officer) didn't witness or i had proof of!! What kind of evidence i have to provide to make a report with higher authorities?? Today, for the 1st time i don't feel safe or protected by my city officials/higher authorities. Therefore, this is the only way i can report such incidents. However, now im even more scared since this officer today on window duties around noon today, brushed me off by closing the opening window at the HPD and walking away in a very unprofessional and disgusting way. Im a constituent just like him, the only difference today is his in uniform. There's no reason why anyone should be treated in such of manner and with no respect. If the HPD couldn't not help in my case, i would had understand that very well.. However, closing or blocking the window with the wood thing and walking away is not the way to treat anyone that looking to report an incident. Im sure i was watched and recorded the minute i walk in. I hope someone is watching, is all im saying, and mute the audio, because the officers body language says more than his words.nnJMR08
