Budget Car Rental

This is the only vehicle rental location I will ever go to! Each and every time I rent a car here, the staff is completely professional and kind. This location is like a well-oiled machine. There is never confusion. I walk right in, and everything is always ready to go. No nonsense. No having to wait for them to locate a vehicle. Bob is incredible and wonderful. I am always treated like a valued customer, and person! The cars I have been given always exceed my expectations. Recently, I rented a vehicle, and was given a brand new, all-wheel drive, heavy duty Ford. The prior two times I rented, I was given a super new, and clean Toyota. The rental prices are always competitive, and in my opinion, great value for the service and vehicles given. I have tried other car rentals in years past, but when I found this location, they had my business from that point forward. Just wanted to say thanks for always being great! For never having me wait. I literally each and every time, walk up, give them my name, and minutes later I am well on my way. I appreciate you!

I would rate this place a zero if I could! Had a reservation for an SUV and received a pickup truck. Clearly you don’t care about negative reviews because the man working there tonight offered no help whatsoever. Terrible customer service. He didn’t even have the empowerment to cancel my reservation. I had to call a phone number. No need to say anything else. Clearly this is a waste of time.

We had a really negative experience this past Saturday with this location. We ordered a truck and were given a cargo van on our moving day, which put us in an extremely difficult position. The management at this location offered no help, was curt and rude, and refused to make it right in any way.nnWe have had positive experiences at other Budget locations, but we were extremely disappointed and would not rent from this location again.

Based on current policy and procedure for Budget it is very unlikely that I rent again or refer this company to anyone else. I needed a vehicle to make the trip back to my home town to visit my family for Labor Day weekend. I prepaid for a discount and had to call customer service to reschedule my pick and drop off to accommodate my family's arrival. I originally wanted to pick up Friday 9/4 and drop of Sunday 9/7 at 1pm however most of my family wouldn't arrive until Sunday morning so I needed to reschedule my pick up and drop off to Saturday 9/5 to drop off Tuesday 9/7 at 7:30 as soon as the location opened as so I get to work on time. I learned during the rescheduling process that Budget was closed for Labor Day, I had no issue there but also that there wasn't a drop box and that I basically had to pay $91 for an extra day I wasn't even going to use the vehicle. It literally sat in front of the rental location Sunday night after I arrived back in town and all day Monday while Budget took $91 for an extra day because there was no drop box to leave the keys supposedly due to Covid19. While I more than understand the need to be safe during these times being an essential worker for Orkin Commercial Services the fact that there isn't a drop box and customers have to come in contact with employees is beyond me. Why would a company want more one on one contact when a drop box would alleviate that issue. Let me know if I'm missing something. When I picked up and dropped off the workers that were there had on gloves so what's the issue with taking keys from a drop box and disinfecting them? I felt scammed and as a customer it felt as if Budget was unsympathetic to any possible financial hardship during this pandemic by not allowing a drop box to be utilized so that I wouldn't needlessly be charged an extra day when the location was closed. From start to finish the whole process was painstaking and arduous and I won't put myself through it again.

At first, I was being charged $23 more than my reservation receipt stated. Robert stepped in and corrected that. Even though the hold on my credit card was the higher number, when I returned the car, I was charged the correct amount. I drove a Kia Forte, which is a nice, solid, sporty feeling car that was fun to drive. It's comparable to a Honda Civic and more appealing than a Corolla or a Sentra.
