Life with Liz (03/27/2019)
This is place is horrible and I can not express that enough. I walked in with the hopes that I would get treated with respect, and get my questions answer. When I asked how much for the prices of makeup and hair the guy said “Here we go again with this. People asking for prices.” He seemed so upset that I kept asking questions. I’m a client and if I want to ask 100,000 questions I’m allowed to because I’m going to pay for the service. When I told him what hairstyle I wanted he said that it was ugly and that I should pick a different one. He said my hair was horrible because of the shampoo that I used, and he kept cursing in Spanish. He kept interrupting me when I wanted to talk. I honestly wanted to shut him up with a slap and leave! I wish I could give this place 0 stars not worth it. Respect is the main thing in a business they clearly don’t know that!

This place is horrible. You have to go through 3 different people just to get a hair cut and it took RIDICULOUSLY LONG!! first one person washes then another blow dries and straightens and finally the main person cuts it. He automatically said my idea was a bad haircut and that I should change it. They also ask if you want an alcoholic seltzer drink and charge it later. It was ridiculously EXPENSIVE and took FOREVER for something simple. Don’t waste your time and don’t come here. I regretted it immediately.

I had an excellent experience with Mike. He’s courteous, thoughtful, and uniquely passionate about his work. I can’t wait to work him again!

The hair stylist is definitely rude.I was just going to take the benefit of the doubt when people mentioned how the stylist is the worst and cold, but after I experienced in person.. I was so taken back by it and I was lost for words.nnThe other hair assistant kept insisting that it’s his personality after they both realized that they bluntly called my mother “old”. I was so appalled and my feelings were hurt, I couldn’t imagine what my mother was feeling right there and then. The atmosphere after that was awkward because they both realized we stood quiet after that comment. The assistant kept trying to make the situation better by insisting that not many people understand his way of being and his jokes. My mother and I were clearly not joking whatsoever and honestly I wouldn’t appreciate if someone took my mom as a joke and called her old.nNo apology was given there and then, just plain excuse for his rude behavior and he didn’t even acknowledge his comment nor his behavior.nnNot only did the hairstylist call my mother old, but doesn’t listen to what the client wants, starts raising his tone of voice, gets mad at you for buying cheap shampoo(not all people are economically stable to be buying expensive shampoo, it eventually accumulates) and starts screaming how I can get cancer, gets distracted and starts calling and messaging people, criticizes you physique as well, críticizes your clothing.nnAnyways, he has to understand that there’s a certain way to act in a proffesional environment. He and the people in the salon are reluctant to realize that his attitude is not the best when it comes to his clients or just anybody that steps in his salon. He may think that the people that step in are just too soft to deal with his personality, but if he wants people to even step in the salon whatsoever or people to keep coming back, he has to know how to differentiate his attitude in his work environment and outside from his work place. The clients that step in like me, don’t know the stylist personality and I would appreciate to be treated with respect just the way I did, I don’t know him, we’re not friends what’s so ever, so there goes to show that you’d expect to be treated like a client and not like someone who bombards you with witty jokes and rude comments. There’s a certain way to test your clients it’s just part of work ethics, it’s logic.nThis is just constructive criticism and I hope the stylist reflects on this, nonetheless his work is good but his attitude towards his clients is just the worst.

My sister entered the salon in hopes to get a haircut, the hair stylist approached her and asked what she wanted done. My sister explained what she wanted and he responded very coldly and condescendingly that it was out of style. My sister was taken aback but she asked to see if she could see different styles and he continued to be rude and wasn’t helpful at all. My sister left very upset and he seemed unphased.nVery disappointed. Do not recommend!
