This fire station has been called upon frequently for assistance with my mother and father. They are truly caring people, professional and very patient. We are so blessed that they are nearby. I thank each member of station 38 for their dedication to the North Lawndale community.
Best firemen in the city. I was in utter awe of the saltiness of the men when I suddenly collapsed from smoke inhalation. It was from being to close to their bunker gear and breathing in the fumes. Luckily I was in the hands of the most compassionate medics who showed a lot of urgency and emotion during my care. If only there was some way the city could pay them more....
They only take you to the hospital if you call them if you have an emergency medical situation and you are close by don't walk up to door
