I had a claim policy rental from state farm and they sent me to Hertz rental on 5259 s. Archer ave. Chicago Illinois and upon being serviced by an employee by the name of Dazha she was very respectful curtious and patient with me in addition to being a over all professional. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this rental at first choice due to my experience with Dazha and I highly recommend Hertz on archer ave to anyone looking for a rental with the best service. The customer service they displayed at this location was phenomenal. I appreciated them answering all of my questions and responding to all of my concerns as well. They gave me the best option for my budget and I truly appreciated everything they did for me at this location. Thank you and I will be back in the future.

Easily the worst experience I’ve ever had renting a car, or I guess not renting a car as I didn’t even get the rental I reserved. Entire staff is rude and doesn’t care about you. They told me they couldn’t rent to me for some reason even though I had already paid when I made the reservation.nnThey made me spend 15 minutes on the phone with Equifax only for Equifax to tell me that there is nothing wrong with my credit report that would cause them not to rent to me. They insisted that they needed a credit card from me for some reason even though I had already paid and the website said all I needed was my license and the card I used to make the reservation.nnI didn’t have my credit card physically on me and I when I walked back up to the door to ask them if it would be possible for me to just provide credit card details they all walked out and locked up for the night and didn’t even look at me. Never ever ever considering renting from Hertz ever again.

Horrible experience!!! A car rental is supposed to help you When your inconvenienced by not having your own car. Before I left the lot they had to put air in one of the tires. Six hours later come out to the car tire pressure is 23 now it is 20. Had to wait on hold for two hours to get an answer from emergency roadside service. I have learned my lesson from now on if you rent a car and they ever have to put air in one of the tires do not take that car it probably has a leak in it just like the one I got has.

Excluding the nonexistent customer service at this place, the people here lack humanity. It’s infuriating as a customer and generally sad to see. I was able to book at car for 4p to head to KY for a funeral the next morning. I called to give the heads up that I was running 10 minutes late due to traffic and was refused a car when I arrived. The manager’s response: “We are closed.” In the time that it took to come out and speak to me, I could have been in a car and on my way. I wouldn’t expect this service anywhere, and I’m a President’s Circle member for Hertz. Instances like this make it clear why the company is bankrupt.
