This is favorite bookstore in Chicago. The staff are friendly and helpful. The selection is a nice balance between popular fiction like Stephen King and more esoteric stuff, like a cookbook of vegetarian Afro-Caribbean recipes a friend loved. Plus they will order anything for you. I’m very much a “books as gifts” person, and I’ve never had a problem fulfilling all my holiday shopping needs here. This year I didn’t feel comfortable browsing, so I called them and they pulled what they had in stock and ordered what they didn’t. It made my holiday shopping so easy.
Recently discovered this bookstore and SO glad I did! What a great spot. Really great selection of books - including children's books! The employees are so kind and helpful. Will definitely be purchasing from here more often! If you are in Printer's Row, I highly recommend checking it out!
Great bookstore with a wide variety of items from classics to the lastest releases. It's nice having to have an actual bookstore in our neighborhood. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The historic building is gorgeous and location next to the park makes this a great afternoon well spent.
This has large selection and I spent 20 minutes browsing alone! I will definitely return in the near future.
