We have eaten at the Cornstalk for years. Last night we ordered meals to go. I will say the waffle fries were horrible. Both meals had waffle fries, they weren’t done, not even browned, mushy, and some were hard! Luckily my sandwich was done or I would’ve returned the whole thing! We threw both orders of the potatoes out. What is wrong with your cook that he would send out an order like that! Just irresponsible on his part!

We happened in off I-80 early wednesday morning and found a welcoming atmosphere and a fabulous meal. I had an amazing n very tasty omelet w/hash browns, hubby n daughter enjoyed the classic 2 eggs, meat, hash browns n pancakes. Very prompt and friendly service with a smile n bottomless coffee. Will recommend and return! Thanks!
Food and service is both always good. Some truck parking but working on a better lot
We stopped in here right before close and had a party melt and double cheeseburger, it was excellent and Megan was a very pleasant server despite the fact we came in right before close. We were staying in the RV park close by, the next morning we discovered we had an issue with our RV, with no additional vehicle we we're stuck. There are no food delivery service around so we called the Cornstalk Cafe and asked if there was any way they would be willing to help us out and deliver, Megan from the previous night agreed to help is out. Thank you Megan you were a life saver. It's so nice meeting nice people.
