Chad kounkel has very good drivers. Chad also treats his drivers very good. Trucks are always clean. Treats the livestock amazing. Chad also treats his drivers like they are family. Most outgoing respectful people around. I’ve heard nothing but good things from this company. Very respectful and careful while on the road and of other drivers.
I’ve taken hundreds of road trips and understand that trucks need to get over and do their thing.nOn my last trip a Kounkel trucker came into my lane while I was passing him twice, almost veering me off of the road.nThis is a life threatening situation which is obviously concerning.nI had continued to call them to talk about this driver. The phone rang for about 20 minutes and no one answered.
Owner is a complete jerk. His employees beat and mistreat the animals they are hauling, the issue has been brought to chads attention and nothing is done. Have an issue with one of the drivers, Chad will scream at you. I know personally that his truckers will run 18-20 hours before taking a break.. they will purposely try to run drivers off the road if a car upsets them. Wouldn't hire the company for anything. Regardless of what Jamie has said, one driver almost got kicked off a loading facilities property due to mistreatment of animals. Another driver was banned from another facility for having so many dead hogs on his semi when he went to unload. ( Both of those drivers have left a review ) I have one of the drivers log sheets that shows he lies on every one of them. You CANT trust this company or their drivers
Just nearly got run of the road twice by a driver trailer number 1005 green peterbilt plate number cv 9428 livestock trailer. Going 82 in a 70 i90 west near Rochester mn when slowed to 60 tried to pass swerved into our lane. Slowed down assuming someone was in front of him, look and no one, attempt to pass and swerved into our lane again. Phone number for company no answer or voicemail set up.
