Local resident, first time patron.this place is a hidden gem it fits right in, in historical down town Mount Vernon. Great music playing, found a good malbec wine to go with our meal. The tempura green beans came in a huge portion, and were made perfect. The pork schnitzel was spot on. The German potato salad took me back to my army days in Germany. To top it off the creme brulee was one of the best I have ever had and the price was right! Keep up the good work folks!

Very pleasant surprise!!! Stopped in for lunch. Boutique menu with good home cooking and great service. Looking forward to returning.

They have the best salad I have ever had. Including salads from all across the country! It is a Spinach Arugula salad with Pomegranate Vinaigrette. There is a hint of fennel and red onions are finely sliced. Then they top it off some wonderful feta cheese. Enough for two people at only $10. Crazy good. My sister, Sondra Meyers, owner of the Gathering House b&b, Mt. Vernon, shared The fantastic salad with me.

The food here is always delicious and the service is excellent. These guys are doing an amazing job navigating through COVID times. If you haven't eaten here, you are missing out!
