Have not been out to eat in a restaurant in a long time. It was good to out to Okoboji Grill in Newton! The food was so good! The employees were nice, we were seated right away and the server took our order took in record time.
Long wait time for the food we ordered (45 min), long wait time for the bill (30 min), food was OK at best, and had to wait 10 minutes at least for a refill while waiting for our food. Restaurant was not busy and no one was trying very hard to get anything done quickly. Our server, Brooke, didn't even bring out our food and couldn't remember what drink I ordered when she finally came around to refill it. Save your time and money by going somewhere else. Heard other customers complain about the food and wait times too so I know we weren't the only ones with this experience.
Lots of good food on the menu had to scrape it off to read it. Actual food was good though.. Kinda lacking in cleanliness
Super disappointed. It's my birthday, I hardly get out. Lol We waited for almost 15 mins no one came to even take drink orders. We asked the hostesses. She brought us water and still no server. The sweet waitress from the bar finally came over but at this point we were ready to leave. We ended up going to Montana Mikes.
I pass by this location after work and always appears busy. So I figured I would stop in after work it was late, but the were kind enough to serve me. I placed my order to go, as I waited I looked around at the layout. It felt comfy, mind you I practically had the whole place to myself. They have plenty or room inside and out just don't eat outside during winter, there's plenty of snow. So if you haven't been here give them a try. Two thumbs up.
