The food was a great quality and the price was awesome. Atmosphere felt very friendly and inviting. Had great conversations with strangers. Would highly recommend. Don't get the broccoli, they over steamed or microwaved it. They're a baked potato place, nothing wrong with that

I’ve been in Thomasville for just over 1 year working. Finished and going back home. Always order the 35.00 stake and split with wife and get sides for two. Ate at Big Mikes once and it was fine. Ordered two times carry out, first time it was cooked well done. Should have carried it back but to drive 20 miles after setting down and eating salad then getting into stake. I was able to cut enough out of the middle for wife and I just ate the rest. Went back tonight ordered same thing and told them that I wasn’t satisfied last time and why didn’t offer 1/2 off or anything. I ask could they make sure it was cooked medium. Get home and it’s medium well. Dry as a bone. Again wife ate two bites said she was afraid she would get chocked and wouldn’t eat any more. Again I did finish it but didn’t enjoy it. Will be last time eating at any Big Mike’s Stake house.

My steak was cooked perfect and had a great flavor. The beer was ice cold. The place had a good vibe.
