Went for a funeral still the same civic center I remember getting up. Bathrooms were very clean.
We saw For King and Country here. Awesome show! The sound is great at this Civic Center, which was a pleasant surprise. Parking was a bit of a challenge. There are also many ways, to leave the area after the event, to avoid traffic. Just take the road less traveled.
The staff is top notch, friendly and inviting. They put alot of work into keeping the grounds clean. Definitely has all the potential in the world!!! Wish there was more events here. Definitely a great venue. Perfect for music , pageants, corporate events, basketball tournaments. u name it it can be done here. Plenty of room. Great restaurants near by. Rotary Club Dinner Christmas blowout ...it was top class all the way ... food was home made cooked and had dance and sing choir for a floor show... they really did go all out.
Love the civic center for events. However, it's such a shame a city the size is Dothan never in my 30 years experience has taken full advantage of this large center. There is something major there about one a month .... City of Dothan should be able to get this thing rolling, draw more talent, and have a major event at a minimum of once or twice a week.
