We were looking for someone to repair a slab leak that was already identified by a leak detection company. I called Vinson and explained the situation, and they told me because of the size of the project, they would need to block their schedule for an entire day and send out two techs, so it would be a little while before they could fit that in their schedule. We agreed on a date a week and a half in the future.nnA week and a half goes by, and no one shows up and we hadn't heard anything. I called to see what was going on, and it turns out they never actually booked the appointment. They did not have us scheduled at all. They said that they could schedule a new appointment for another week out, but never offered so much as an apology for the error.

Awesome technician! Friendly, efficient, and prepared. However, they charge the hourly work rate for drive time to/from your home if you live outside of Dothan. I literally just paid someone $95/hr to drive. The work took approximately 1 hr and I paid for 2.5 hours of work.. I understand this is time away from working. My home is 10 minutes farther than the farthest place in Dothan from their shop. But, I was charged the total drive time with no compensation for the fact that these electricians may need to drive to anywhere in Dothan with no cost to the customer. So, I suggest charging a mileage rate starting with distances greater than 20 minutes with a more reasonable rate than the hourly work rate since no work is actively being accomplished.

Very knowledgeable, very friendly, the guys worked hard and went above and beyond to get the job finished. Definitely recommend them.

Experience was uneventful. Services were minimum but the technition completed his tasks in a timely manor. Must educate tech's that due to the COVID pandemic that masks should be applied before entering residents. I kindly had to ask the technition to apply his mask and henWent back to his service vehicle and put it on.
