It is haunting to know that this is the Silver Memorial Bridge that replaced the Silver Bridge where 46 people died when it collapsed on Dec. 15, 1967. So many people died because there were traffic lights at either end of the bridge and traffic piled up with Christmas coming. All the information about it is on YouTube under the title The Silver Bridge Disaster.

This Bridge takes you over the Ohio River into West Virginia if your heading Eastbound. It's a beautiful Bridge with a good view of the Barges below and the little town of Giliopolios.

Nice bridge, would have been a lot more work to get to Ohio if it wasn't there. Luckily no sight of the mothman either.
