I didn't have such a great experience with this company. If you have the word heating in your name and you don't want to do heating then you should remove it. I called because I was having an issue with my hot water heater and to me it was an emergency. I had water pouring out of the release valve and ruining my basement and carpet. I stopped the drainage, but ended up turning off the water in my whole house to do so!! When I explained the issue to the plumber I spoke with he started saying I needed a new water heater because it was leaking. He asked if I had a hatch to the basement to remove the water heater. Started saying it was a big job, etc. Then what blew my mind was he said he would pass on this job????? I didn't even know that was a possibility for a business to pass up on work. Very frustrated after that experience with them. I won't say the name but I ended up calling a 3 star company (rated on Google) and over the phone the plumber walked me through an easy fix. He said it would save me a load of money and it was super easy to fix. I literally fixed it in less than 3 minutes. I really wish Dick Wages/Gary Thresher Plumbing & HEATING Service would have come through. Maybe then I could have given them a great review. Don't let the stars fool you, the two highest rated plumbing services in Enfield could not help me, but 3 star was better than I could even ask for.

Local Enfield based company provided us with fast response and we were satisfied with their work.We have used big out of town fancy plumbers with big fancy rates before.So this was a pleasant experience overall for our latest plumbing dilemma!

Finally a pleasant experience with a plumbing company!nI called about a sudden leaking copper pipe in my cellar.nThe (hot water) was pouring out onto the floor.nA service person answered my call and patiently explained to me wherenthe main shut off could be found so I could stop the flow.nThey were at my house within 2 hrs and fixed the problem quickly.nI considered the final bill to be reasonable and felt I had beed treated like family.nThanks again!

We have used this company for several years and have been satisfied.nGary the owner is a friendly guy and has always done good work for reasonable prices.nI would recommend him to friends and family without hesitation.

I remember my parents using this company when I was a young girl.Now that I am married and we own our own home we also use A-1 as our only plumber.nThey seem to be a very honest and friendly company to do business with and we have been satisfied with the jobs we have hired them to do.
