More of a pet store not for a farmer. While I was There today two separate farmers seconded the sentiment. They both also have issues finding the store stocked for farm supplies. The bins for bolts sprockets were empty again. Tired of having to always drive to Woodstock to tractor supply. Their bins are always full. Never ends always have to go elsewhere like rural king, another tractor supply, smiths etc.

This is a great store most of the staff is friendly and helpful, my only complaint is they don't have a good selection of cat litter at all. They should really do something about this and add different kinds of litter.

We bought some our chickens at this tractor supply. The associate helping us was awesome and obviously experienced when it comes to chicken. She answered all our questions. We also got a pretty good deal on some of them, we'll call them clearance chickens because they were a few weeks old and not at the cute baby stage people want. My only complaint is that 4 of our chickens were supposed to be pullets, definitely girl chickens. Well 3 of them are roosters. That no fault of Tractor Supply, the fault is their suppliers. The chickens though were very healthy. We bought 13 expecting about 1/3 to most likely pass. Well all of them are all alive and healthy two month later. Not complaining at all.

Tractor supply is a unique store designed especially for the farmer or animal lover. In addition to necessary supplies they have unique items that make it a great place to go when shopping for gifts or looking for something a little different. We buy most of our dog food there.
