Super low-key show yourself history walk. Let yourself in but be sure not to let out the cows. Looks like some of the decorative fencing that was there has since been taken down, but no complaint here. The trail was difficult to discern at times, but thankfully we had the trust dog from across the street who met us as we left the cars and literally led us through the entire trail, waiting for us to read the placards and moving along once we were ready. The placards are well researched and highly informative. The maps included are helpful I'm explaining the area and the actions of both sides during the battle that took place there. I would definitely recommend. Thanks to those who made this place possible and keep making it possible.

Very interesting history plus this dog acted as our tour guide during our hike up the hill. I wish I knew what her name was. I wish I would have had a dog treat to give her.

Was a cool place not the biggest battle field by far but it was nice and there are cows that graze in the area so that's also a nice touch ( unless you have a girlfriend with a dog that is scared of cows ) go check it out just dont plan your day around it ud83dudc4cud83eudd19

Short but strenuous hike and plenty of bugs on the warmer days! The cows can be a bit intimidating but they don't bite! Overall, a well laid out trail with good documentation of the battle.

Small battlefield, I only seen the one hill and a lonely dog
