Citizens receiving speeding tickets are given 15 days to pay their fine. The tickets are written manually and if the issuing officer does not put it in the system, it eats into YOUR time. The city management should extend the payment period to 30 days to prevent unnecessary issuance of warrants for unpaid fines. I received mine four days ago, I will call daily until it is updated in the system and to take up as much of their time as possible.
Worst experience ever!! The city's fines and court costs are ridiculous.
I got a ticket while traveling back to Austin (civilization). Drove right through a speed trap where a few hundred yards away the speed limit increase by 10mph. Anyways, I started to jump though their hoops via mail. I submitted the puzzle pieces and they sent me a letter stating my driver license was not legible. WTF you’re the government, and how the f@&$ is a DL not legible. Even the creepy cop took my pic after he swiped my license. This is a trap against those passing through this armpit. Bull! Now I have to depend on the US mail to save the day. Idiots!
I would rate them a big fat zero....rude and I feel for the citizens of this town. All they care about is money....Not Protect and Serve
The court clerks lie.. Be sure to physically submit any evidence you want to show in trial.. They lied an said to just bring it the day of court an the judge wouldn't allow it since it wasnt submitted! So the only thing the court clerks are good for is taken money an misleading INNOCENT citizens... I would give half a star but the option isn't available..
