This is a well-organized, wonderful bookshop, with an array of books on Texas I have never seen anywhere else. They range from rare editions to new paperbacks. Apart from the extensive Texas selection, there are some hard-to-find children’s books and shelves of elegant leather bound classics. And the owner, Felton Cochrane, is so helpful and knowledgeable. This is how bookshops should be. A real pleasure to visit and a delight to come away with some fascinating books.
Wonderful selection of Texas History books and tons of signed first editions of classics as well.

Nice collection of local history.
The kind of non-chain bookstore you don't see much any more. Owner very helpful in finding books or ordering what I need. These are not (generally ) the new bestsellers but they focus on history and historical fiction.
