NEVER come here for a passport. Save your troubles and get one at the wichita clerks office. They are 100% nicer just don't forget a check or money order for the application fee. Had horrible experiences every time I went to this post office location and never would have come here if had known I could get my passport elsewhere. The guy was incredibly rude every time I was there and he was unapologetic. Don't waste your time.
Very nice. Handled a complaint quite well. Easy to access. Gorgeous inside. So much history. My husband told me he had a good experience as well. The closest place you can find with an automated teller machine is on southwestern.. this one is only equipped with the historic abilities. Take the mail. Load the boxes. And carry them off to distant lands! I wish our postal service could get better.. generally the buildings and the services they provide should be faster and grow with the times. But at least they are reliable. They are always Here.
when i got to the counter the man automatically talked down to me he said i could pick up my key at a office 2 mi away from me i don't have a car and i walk i walked to seymour hwy and he didnt even give them the list for my mailbox now i have to wait another week lamar is the closest to my address and i hate that it is lol i need a po box and i almost rather walk the 2 mi instead of .5
I wish I could give this place a zero star because these 2 ppl that work there are the rudest humans I’ve dealt with in a while. Both my husband and I arrived EARLY to our SCHEDULED separate passport appointments. When I say scheduled, I mean scheduled days in advance on an exact time. Not everyone has a printer at home or WiFi for that matter. Both arrive 30 min early to fill out pw. Black man I dealt with didn’t come to window until 10 minutes after my scheduled time. (I’ve been here 40 minutes now and there are ZERO people in the lobby with me except the elevator maintenance man) He then asks for my pw. Explained to him why I was there early and he acted like I was the most inconvenient person in the world. Take half a step to pull pw out of folder, where there are tons... and says fill this out over there and leaves. Took 34 seconds to fill out and then I had to wait for him another 30 minutes to come back. I asked questions about the process of a renewal bc my husband needed that in a couple of weeks and again a complete jerk. I have never left a review on google y’all. You signed up for your job honey. If you’re so unhappy you can’t be kind to a PAYING CUSTOMER I think it’s time for you to seek employment else where. This is the most beautiful building on the inside and that why I go. But I will never be back there again.
