The KOA is absolutely beautiful! It is well maintained and all the staff is working hard and are passionate about their work! They are incredible welcoming and friendly! It really is an oasis within a larger city! Our children have made so many friends already! There are two large dog parks, a community fire with cowboy chuck every weekend and a delicious breakfast every Sunday! The staff is so sweet they even give the dogs some treats when they drive by in their golf carts ! They are incredible!nI also want to give all the staff a big shout out as they worked so hard during this winter storm! We are incredible proud of them and highly recommend them!

Price increased for black tank dump use. Was $10 but as of March 2021 the price increased to $15.nThis KOA is friendly and efficient but expensive.nI have been to this KOA at least six times. I have not stayed over night but I do go weekly to dump my black tank and monthly to refill my propane.nIt does cost to dump but they find me a place to dump in about 5 minutes. The sites are clean and are pull through.nRefill of my propane is also quick and efficient.

We had a great five night stay. The whole campground was well maintained. You would never know you were one block away from a major road in a large city - Inside you feel like you are in the country. The bathrooms are modern and super clean. The camp store has everything you need and the managers and staff were all super nice. You can't go wrong with a booking here! We are certain we will be back.

We stayed here over the Halloween weekend in one of the Deluxe Cabins. The cabin was super clean and you could tell that the staff here really cared to make sure that guests had an awesome experience. That of which we did. The Halloween activities were very well done given the current times. It was a touch of normalcy but respecting guidelines. The staff always wore masks in a setting where distancing was not conducive and guests respected the signs on the doors to wear theirs. The location of this KOA is great. You have easy access to most anything you could need within a mile or two. We drove to both Downtown Dallas and Fort Worth during our stay and neither was very far. I guess that is all about perspective though, it took about 30 minutes with hitting some traffic. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The campground is laid out very well and RV sites are really spacious. I can’t speak for the bathrooms as we didn’t use them but based on the level of cleanliness elsewhere, I imagine that they’re set at just as high of a standard. Long story short, stay here!
