Professors don't even know the material they are teaching, used to use the out of district fee waiver but someone decided to change the ruling on it. Needless to say LSC doesn't care about its students, only the $$$$$$ they can charge you and take from you.
Worst college ever. Not the professors fault. But the college administrators.nnYou speak to one advisor. They give you their email, tell you to email them if you have questions then NEVER respond. They also give you wrong information. One advisor argued with me that I was not TSI complete (even when I had test results in my hand) made me take the basic college Algebra. Paid for it out of my pocket since it was the one class left I “had to take”. Went and talked to another advisor she told me I did not have to take it. So confusing and so misleading.

Parking is free and right outside the door to the library. Safe area. Test center located on second floor at rear of library building. There are lockers to put your purse etc. into. You may leave your drink outside the test room and can access it if you need it during testing. You can bring a sweater but it Has to hang on the coat rack in the room when not in use. They give you a write on wipe off dry erase marker pen to use to take notes during the exam. Staff was friendly. My one complaint is it is multiple rows of computers all facing one wall, when I took my test I could see in front of me, other test takers moving etc which was a visual distraction during my test. A different test center which I went to gave us our own cubicle so we had firm walls for focus and no visual distractions. You can also see the person to your left and right in your peripheral vision while you are taking the test on the computer. Room alternated too cool to just right so my sweater was on and off. Will return there again and will ask if I cam sit in the row with the wall behind my computer.
There are certain advisors there that are wonderful and have tried to help me, but their hands are tied... the advisors I actually need to assist me are MIA and have not responded to any emails or phone calls. If LoneStar Tomball doesn't want my money, I will take classes elsewhere. It should not be this difficult to enroll in a certificate course.
