Wilson Construction

We hired Wilson Construction to provide the earthworks and construction for our septic system, driveway, culvert, and also to pour the foundation and basement for our home. They handled excavation and removal of boulders as well.nnPete Wilson was communicative, responsive, and true to his word. If he said he or his team would be on site, they were there. If any delays occurred, he always called to inform me. Any time I had questions, Pete was happy to explain his processes and schedule. He is easy to reach and a pleasure to work with, as is the rest of his team. He was clear in his proposals and gave thorough reports in his invoices. He explained any unforseen cost overruns clearly and waited for our okay to proceed in those cases.nnPete Wilson stayed aware of our needs and gave good advice, and he was mindful of our budget and offered recommendations that helped us stay on track. Everyone we worked with at Wilson Construction has a high level of customer care.nnThe folks at Wilson Construction are professionals through and through. I recommend them as a dependable company that responds to client needs and does high quality work. Would gladly hire them again.

Called them twice, they never returned my call.

My husband and I own a large home in Pelham. The house was built in two periods of time. Originally, the primary residence in the house was constructed in 1974. Then an “in-law” apartment was attached on the west side 1994. We are the second owners—since 2003.nnWilson Construction has performed two essential jobs on our house. In 2007 they removed solar panels from the leaking roof and installed a new roof. (The solar panels had been installed in the 1990s by the original owner and the hot water heating system of which they were a part had failed.) Then, in 2015, Wilson Construction designed, created, and installed a replacement bridge necessary for cars to drive up our driveway. The old bridge was rotten and actually collapsed one day when a septic tank truck drove over the bridge when leaving after pumping the tank. (Fortunately the truck kept on going, did not fall into the brook and took the sewage with it!) To put the finishing touches on the bridge, Wilson Construction regraded our trap rock driveway and put down a recycled rock top layer.nnBoth jobs were completed in a timely manner and with a beauty and craftsmanship beyond our expectations. The estimate and billing processes were handled extremely professionally. Liaison actions with the Town of Pelham...for permits and approval of these jobs were handled by Wilson Construction and eliminated all headaches for us.nnIt is now June 2019 as I write. Recently I discovered that the Romeo and Juliet balcony outside the sliding glass doors off the master suite has a rotten corner. I will be calling on Wilson Construction again to give us an assessment and estimate for this job.

The guy who owns this business also rents to UMass students and finds reasons to not return their deposits when the rental period is over. He is happy to take your money, but good luck getting in touch with him when he owes you money. He is not an honorable guy.
