Very cool place. Worth a visit. Bring your wallet though and be prepared to spend. They can be a little pricey, yes but they have such a great selection of items from many places. From italian chocolate bars, to ANY spice you could possibly think of, to .... Well, how about you just check it out for yourself. You will NOT regret it.
Ruben’s grocery offers some choice items from all around the world. Eclectic and rooted in Hispanic culture, there is so much to see, find and try at Ruben’s specialty grocery store. More than a market with fresh cut meats and select ingredients and seasonings; it’s a fun adventure for anyone visiting the Rio Grande Valley.
Amazing variety of food from Latin America and beyond. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. You must visit.
I liked the variety of international things but there were some things that looked rotten and needed to be cleaned up. There was a bucket on the chilled items that had mold in it. It was so disgusting i didn't want to buy any vegetables or meat.
Since beginning 3 weeks ago drinking the Super smoothie I have begun to feel so much better, bonus side began losing weight as well. Highly recommend everyone trying it.
