Park is not user friendly (especially for seniors) There are several hazards such as poor lighting- some areas completely dark at night, dangerous walking and bike riding.nnSEWERAGE leaking and open raw sewage spilling onto the lots, overflowing to the.areas of picnics and drainage into the “so-called” LAKE, which is TOXIC and even persons have been seen taking fish out!nnGoats are mixed with campers and the odor and files also after the environment at the park.nnDUMPING Stations are not up to code, no concrete- just a hole in the ground, and old water hose. Sewerage spills all over and located next to goats.nnSPACE Numbers- If you need an ambulance nine out of 10 times I won’t be able to find you the spaces are completely unorganized And not logically numbered and Ambulance will not be able to find you many times they go around for three or four minutes asking where and numbered spaces the owners to have been advised of his and refused to make changesnnThere has been cheating on the electricity charges buy an accurate reading or illegal books also if you get propane in the park the propane truck always gives less than showed on the meters be careful of this many have complained but management also does nothingnnThe so-called twin Lakes is not a lake anymore it’s a toxic waste dump also being illed in by the owners greed for more land by hundreds of truckloads of dumped Waste soil have you checked on Google earth map you can see the difference in size of the lake from five years ago and apparently the owner was advised not to fill this lake in because it is ask as a drainage for the city of Mission but he has disregarded this and gone filling the lake in and in and in.nnPlease take this in consideration when choosing this as a permanent park the recreation hall also has no air-conditioning or the offices due to their owners tight budget the mail room is a disaster with employees and other campers able to access anybody’s mailbox any time
Best park in Mission! Very reasonably priced short term or by the month or year. A few places to rent and a few for sale. Lots vary a little in size but generous compared to other places. Pay for your own electric and propane. Water and garbage included in the rent. The owner is very friendly and helpful and keeps the park clean and in good repair. There is a large rec hall with a kitchen, mail room, card room, pool tables and a large multipurposeroom. Many activities are scheduled and they have a dance with band Saturday nights. The best part is it is located near great shopping and restaurants but set 3/4 miles off main road and surrounded by quiet pastures where goats graze and an orange grove where you can pick free of charge if you live there!
Great friendly staff and atmosphere. Well maintained. Great for nature walks or indoor activities.
I just spent almost two months in Twin Lakes and was welcomed like family on the very first day of my arrival. There is alot of green space and room to spread out on bike or get some distance if you are pulling in your rv. facilities are well maintained and supervised by a 2nd generation family led by Jason, who's a great guy who understands his clientele and facility. Plenty to do and plenty of privacy. Good value pricing, great location, internet could be better, but overall a great place to visit or live. Thanks for the visit and will plan to visit again!
If you're looking for a good place to live or to park your RV for a day, week, or month then this is the place. Good hearted friendly people here!
