Looks nice but feels empty. Staff doesn't try and communicate, music is generic video game or anime stuff, I heard someone talking about comics at the counter and they weren't very informed. Almost everything is overpriced, from pops to comics, even figures are marked higher than target or Walmart. Takes forever to respond on social media. You really want comic book shops to have some personality, but this one feels more like a shop at the mall than a customer-facing business.
I went into this store to get some comic books appraised. They offered a very fair price and gave me some very helpful tips. I really recommend this store for all your superheroe needs.
This is one of McAllen's best kept secret. If you're a comic book collector or in search of that rare piece of science fiction then I definitely recommend this place. Ramsey was extremely helpful and also insightful. He knew so much about all the different franchises. I would definitely recommend you talk to him as you'll be sure to find out some piece of information about your favorite characters that you didn't already know. Oh, and if they don't have it, they'll get it for you. Check them out.
