South Branch is my Library of choice due to the part of town I live. It is always exceptionally clean and well maintained and the Librarians are knowledgeable and very courteous. It is a light and airy environment that I favor, and there are more than adequate study areas and reading tables. Access to online Terminals for users to operate are more than adequate. The library has clean bathrooms and a drinking water fountain offering filtered water that also has a position for refilling a water bottle which is very handy during the hot summer months. Generally, a serene and positive environment.
The South Branch Library isn't luxurious or extravagant... but it's principled and convenient. It may not have everything you need, but has enough to learn from, indulge in, and create a new direction of life from. It certainly has a great staff to help you find what you're needing to develop as a person... in one way or another. Don't expect a huge catalog, but expect a huge heart and willingness to point you in the right direction.
We love the Denton South Branch and can’t wait for them to return to full services once COVID gets under control. In the meantime they are doing a great job of getting holds out to patrons through the curbside pickup arrangement. ❤ufe0f
Returned some books. Then early voting. Convenient and no waiting this morning.
The staff is always very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I always walk out with all the books I was looking for, and a few extra! I love all the community inclusive groups and activities.
